项目概况/About the Program

北京大学是我国最早设立考古学教学研究机构的高等院校。授业于田野之间，树人于实践之中。田野教学是北京大学考古育人体系的核心环节。当前北京大学考古文博学院积极推动校地合作，重点建设山东临淄、陕西周原、宁夏盐池三个标准化的实习基地，积极探索“基地+”模式，推动实习基地及田野实习成为传播文化自信、道路自信以及中国文化的新名片。

实习基地交流项目是推动田野考古“基地+”模式发展的重要组成部分。考古文博学院每年面向海内外相关专业学生，设置若干交流名额，旨在发挥北京大学考古学科整体优势，立足田野考古实践一线，探索田野工作前沿方法，为学科建设和人才培养提供学术支撑，推动跨学科交叉合作研究，促进国际交流；继承传统，引领风气，优化田野工作与考古研究生态。

实习基地交流项目时间为5—12月，每期时间参见具体项目需求（参见附录）。考古文博学院为参与交流同学提供优质教学条件，雄厚师资力量，跨学科实践资源，优良生活环境。符合条件的海内外学生可自主申请实习基地交流项目，通过院方组织的遴选后，可获得交流资格。

Peking University is the first university in China to establish a research institution for teaching and studying archaeology, with field teaching being a key part of the school’s archaeological education system. Currently, the School of Archaeology and Museology at Peking University manages to promote cooperation between the university and local governments, focusing on the construction of three standardized fieldwork bases in Linzi, Shandong; Zhouyuan, Shaanxi; and Yanchi, Ningxia. It actively explores the "base +" model, promoting bases and archaeological fieldwork as new ways to advance archaeological education. 

As an important part of the "base +" model in field archaeology, the Fieldwork Exchange Program is opened every year to domestic and international students of relevant majors. It aims to take advantage of the archaeological discipline of Peking University, with a focus on field archaeology, exploring cutting-edge techniques and methodology while providing academic support for discipline development and talent cultivation. Furthermore, the program contributes to the development of interdisciplinary cooperation and international exchanges, leading archaeological fieldwork and studies to a new era.The Program runs from May to December every year, with program durations detailed in the specific project requirements (see appendix). The School of Archaeology and Museology provides high-quality facilities, teaching faculty, interdisciplinary practice resources, and a good living environment for participants of the program. Both domestic and international students eligible for the program can apply. After a selection organized by the school, the qualified applicants will be informed.

申请条件/Application Requirements

1、 申请人应为大三以上学生，应已学习过考古学相关课程，具备基本的田野考古理论知识，并具有一学期以上的田野考古实习经历。

2、 申请人需提供提供学校盖章的成绩单。

3、 申请人应提供一个月内体检证明（传染病方面证明）、和覆盖所申请项目时长的保险证明。

4、 申请人应确保在实习基地交流时段内，能够服从考古工地管理，全身心地投入考古学习生活。

5、 申请人应具备一定的跨学科意识，对学习相关考古学技术、方法抱有热情；能够积极参与基地各项工作。

6、 境外学生应根据后续手续办理要求，提供必要材料。

1. Applicants should be third-year undergraduate students or above who have completed relevant courses in archaeology, with basic theoretical knowledge of field archaeology, and have the experience of at least one semester of fieldwork.

2. Applicants should provide an authorized transcript (stamped by the school).

3. Applicants should provide a health check report (with information on infectious diseases) issued within one month and an insurance certificate covering the duration of the applied project.

4. Applicants should ensure that they can obey the management regulations of the archaeological site and fully immerse themselves in the study and daily life at the base.

5. Applicants need to have an interdisciplinary horizon, with keen interests in learning related archaeological techniques and methodology, and actively participate in the daily work at the base.

6. Overseas students should provide required documents according to relevant requirements.

申请须知/ Instructions for Applicants

1、2025年度实习交流项目每年度申请时间为4月30日之前 ，2025年5月20日之前公布入选名单。

2、申请人通过网线上方式提交申请。请认真填写附件中的申请表，并将申请表发送至邮箱 kaogu301@pku.edu.cn，邮件题目格式为“北大考古实习基地交流项目-申请人姓名-申请人单位”。

3、成功提交申请后，申请人会收到确认邮件，说明系统已收到申请资料。

4、考古文博学院教学委员会审核申请材料，通过严格的遴选程序，确定交流学生名单。

5、进入交流项目学生，其具体入驻实习基地时间一般以当年度通知时间为准。

6、本项目不收取学费，实习基地（发掘项目）提供食宿。不提供实习补贴，往返交通等其他费用自理。

1. The application deadline for the 2025 fieldwork exchange program is April 30, 2025. The list of selected candidates will be announced before May 20, 2025.

2. Applicants should submit their applications online. Please fill in the application form in the attachment and send it to this email address: kaogu301@pku.edu.cn. The subject of the email should be in the form of "Peking University Archaeological Fieldwork Exchange Program- Applicant's Name - Applicant's Institution".

3. Once the submission is completed, applicants will receive a confirmation email indicating that the system has received the application.

4. The School of Archaeology and Museology will review applications and confirm the list of selected candidates.

5. The commencement date for attending the project is based on the informed date of the year.

6. The program does not charge tuition fees, and accommodation is provided at the base (for excavation projects). It does not provide allowance, nor cover any travel or other expenses.
