研究方向 :
分子考古学:应用遗传学方法来追溯人群的来源、混合、迁徙以及演化过程。如应用线粒体DNA, Y染色体DNA,以及全基因组信息对人群进行建模分析。通过多学科交叉,结合考古学、语言学以及遗传学等多学科的证据,以期对古人的史前历史有更加全面的了解。
分子古病理学研究:通过宏基因组学分析方法,对古代遗骸中存在的细菌以及病毒DNA进行重建,为病原-宿主共进化过程及机制提供跨时间维度的直接证据支持,为史前人群非正常死亡提供分子考古学解释。
分子法医学研究:对古代个体进行亲缘关鉴定,以期对史前人群的社会结构、复杂社会的形成以及父系、母系社会的转变等重大人类学问题有更深刻的理解。
